April record for guest nights at hotels
There were 1.8 million guest nights at hotels in April 2025, an increase of 4.8 percent compared to April last year. There was an increase in foreign guest nights, while there was a small decrease in Norwegian guest nights.
Salmon price in the period of May 26th – June 1st
In the period of May 26th – June 1st the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 70.42 per kilo, down by 7.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.
Higher trade balance surplus in Q1 2025
The trade balance surplus versus abroad was NOK 240 billion for the first quarter of 2025. A stronger Norwegian krone against many of the most traded currencies and a negative market price development contributed to a reduction in net foreign assets of NOK 1 225 billion, down to NOK 18 365 billion.
